Math, specifically cryptography, have managed to crush me again. Whilst seemingly everyone save for Jeroen, a brave soul who shared my lack of triumph along with me as we strived against the beast this very night) seems to understand with such spectacular and gleaming clarity.
My call to be a technical writer is currently bellowing.

I have the feeling that my strife is partly due to someone's mistake of thinking me capable and placing me in a class that I shouldn't have been in, or not holding me back when I could have used it. Or perhaps I just can't hack it, as my track record seems to show.

* Jeroen walks in and tells me that there appears to be many people who have been banging their heads against the wall in the math help-center, trying to show these proofs, and being generally unproductive in the interim.* Oh. I guess I feel better. Maybe something good will happen about this. It's still too bad that I missed out on the first unicycling club practice, and the Computer Science club's laser-tag outing. Math is hard.
