In regards to the previous post - yes, I know mplayer does the trick, but if you're my dad running Powerpoint, then it's a different story. I was able to re-encode using mplayer's twin mencode, but it seems like the codec I chose was too much for Powerpoint - it played it, but in a garbled way in Powerpoint. Outside of ppt, it was ok, but not within. Bizarre. Today I'm going for xrays on my knees! Hurray!
