A quick recap of the last few days: - I went cross-country skiing in an artificial cave underneath a hotel. The snow was a bit weird, but I think that's besides the point. Skiing while it's 30C outside feels weird. - I woke up the next morning in the presidential suite with the worst hangover I've ever had. I remember sweet talking the lady at the desk into giving us (two close AFT people) keys to a room with a sauna, but don't remember us paying for anything other than the destructive amount of beer. A good time was had that night. Except for me wanting to vomit my guts out the next morning. - I went to the most eerily beautiful city I have ever been to: Kuopio. Quoting the automatic voice of the tour bus guide "only nice people live here". I am sure that the rest are burned or exiled. It just seemed to pretty and idyllic to be real. There are pictures of the above places, but my camera has woefully given up the ghost. The lens cover no longer retracts upon powering up, which prevents me from taking pictures of anything other than the back of the lens cover. What a drag. I'm going to see about it getting fixed, or buying a working camera.
